![]() Jyoti BansalFounder and CEOJyoti founded AppDynamics in early 2008 with the vision of defining the next-generation of application performance management (APM) solutions for distributed applications running in cloud, virtual, and physical environments. Before founding AppDynamics, Jyoti led the design and architecture for several products at Wily Technology. Wily was the pioneer and leader in the Java performance diagnostics space, and was acquired by Computer Associates for $375 million. Before Wily, Jyoti worked in senior engineering roles at Datasweep (acquired by Rockwell Automation) and netLens (acquired by Microsoft through FAST/Nextpage), where he built distributed application architectures for enterprise search and data mining. Jyoti received his BS in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He is the lead inventor on 14 US patent applications in the field of distributed applications management. |

Stuart HorneVice President of Business DevelopmentStuart joined AppDynamics in 2011 and is responsible for forming strategic alliances that drive growth and revenue for the company. Prior to joining AppDynamics, Stuart was Vice President of Technology Alliances and Commercial Sales at Informatica, where he grew the company’s OEM partner base threefold over three years while growing OEM revenue over 100%. Before that he was Senior Director of Technology Alliances at Mercury Interactive, where he contributed to the company’s expansion into new customer ecosystems via strategic partners and contributed over $300 million in annual worldwide sales. Stuart has also held senior positions at SeeBeyond and PeopleSoft, and started his career as a consultant at Booz-Allen & Hamilton and Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). |

![]() Steve RoopVice President of MarketingSteve Roop joined AppDynamics in 2009 and is responsible for all facets of marketing including branding, demand generation, product marketing, competitive intelligence, marketing communications, and public relations. Prior to joining AppDynamics, Steve was Vontu's VP of Products & Marketing, where his strategies enabled Vontu to become the clear category leader in the Data Loss Prevention market and helped grow Vontu's revenue by triple digits each year. Steve also managed the strategic partnership with Symantec, which led to the $350 million acquisition. Prior to Vontu, Steve held executive positions at PeopleSoft where he was responsible for product management and product marketing for the supply chain and CRM product lines. Steve started his career at Accenture, where he led projects to design and build mission-critical applications. Steve received a B.S. Commerce degree in Finance from Santa Clara University. |

With deep expertise in direct and in-direct sales models, his goal is to build a world-class team. Prior to joining AppDynamics, Frank was Vice President of Sales and Business Development at Makara; before that, Frank was SVP of Worldwide Sales at Splunk, where he built a worldwide sales organization and grew revenues from $500,000 to $35,000,000 in three years. In addition, Frank ran Worldwide Channels for Wily Technology and was Global Account Manager for Mercury Interactive. |

Bhaskar SunkaraVP of Product ExperienceAs VP of Product Experience, Bhaskar is responsible for product management, user experience, and field engineering enablement at AppDynamics. Bhaskar also drives AppDynamics' Customer-centric Innovation methodology to combine customer feedback with fast-paced innovation. Bhaskar was an original founder of AppDynamics and served as Director of Engineering responsible for all product development. Prior to joining AppDynamics, Bhaskar was Lead Engineer at Wily Technology, where he pioneered a dynamic instrumentation engine as well as the company's product expansion into .NET. Prior to that, he was Lead Engineer for Pramati Technologies, where he was one of the key people behind the design and development of their J2EE Application Server. Bhaskar received a B.S. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Madras University. |

Greylock Partners is a private venture capital firm, founded in 1965, with committed capital of over $2 billion under management. Asheem’s areas of interest span enterprise IT infrastructure, software, and services; he has invested in companies in cloud computing, data center, virtualization, networking, management, and security. Prior to Greylock, Asheem was vice president of business development and product management at Check Point Software, during which the company grew from $10M to $500M in annual revenues. Asheem is a charter member of TiE Silicon Valley, and is on the panel of judges for the Wall Street Journal Global Technology Innovation Awards. He holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical and computer engineering from Case Western Reserve University. |

Matt Murphy, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & ByersInvestor and Board ObserverMatt Murphy is a partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. He joined the firm in 1999 and manages the iFund, a collaborative initiative with Apple that focuses on funding and building defining applications on the iOS platform and the mobile internet. Matt’s expertise is in mobile solutions and cloud infrastructure technology. Previously, Matt was a board observer at Google (from initial investment to IPO) and led KPCB’s investment in AutoNavi (Nasdaq: AMAP, 2010). He also served as a director at Pelago (acquired by Groupon in 2011), Ocarina Networks (acquired by Dell in 2010), Dash Navigation (acquired by RIM in 2009) and Peakstream (acquired by Google in 2008).
