Deep Diagnostics Features

Incident workbench.

Now you can quickly analyze and solve performance problems on a single, user-friendly console, including slow transaction performance, high error rates, memory leaks, slow database performance, deadlock and thread contention issues and more. Using dynamic policies and thresholds in order to quickly and accurately identify problems within their business context, the incident workbench gives you all the context your need and allows you to drill down into call graphs or invoke additional diagnostics.
Deep on-demand call graphs.

Snapshots of specific transaction requests are displayed via call graphs that show the performance of every method and class, including details on every outgoing call (SQL/JDBC, Web Service, JMS, HTTP, etc.) to downstream tiers. AppDynamics patent-pending “deep-on-demand” technology enables the solution to deliver data on every transaction, tier and node without adding unacceptable overhead. Hot spots are displayed to indicate which parts of the application code are taking the most time, and call graphs can be easily exported to development teams for collaborative problem resolution.
Comprehensive data collection.

Comprehensive data is collected to help diagnose most common application performance problems, including:
