PHP CLI Performance Monitoring

PHP

PHP CLI (Command Line Interface) is a micro-framework formulated to quickly create a PHP-based Command Line applications. Developers can use PHP CLI to create shell scripts and other PHP-based service-side support scripts that can leverage PHP5’s multithreading capabilities without having to use another coding language like Bash or Perl. Its features include Object Oriented PHP5; arguments, flags, and options; interactive input; and minimal coding. Using PHP CLI, developers can set up and run scheduled (CRON) tasks written in PHP and make GUI applications using PHP and GTK (GIMP Toolkit), among other things. PHP CLI works on major operating systems including Windows, Mac OS X, Solaris, as well as most Linux distributions.

The AppDynamics platform provides full, code-level visibility into the performance of your PHP application built on the PHP CLI micro-framework. With rapid installation and the most scalable architecture in the industry, AppDynamics solutions help you deploy your applications more quickly and with more confidence.

Distributed transaction tracing

Quickly find performance bottlenecks by tracing transactions across any heterogeneous application environment and correlating PHP calls to downstream Java/.Net/PHP/Node.js tiers.

Web and mobile user experience correlation

Understand the client-side performance impact of business transactions by automatically correlating browser and device performance to originating business transaction performance metrics.

Database / NoSQL visibility

Expand visibility from the user to the database by correlating database performance to originating business transaction performance metrics.
