About the Team

About the Role:

We are looking for a strong Product Manager for Account@AppDynamics. Your job is to understand the needs of our enterprise customers in regards to how they want to manage identity, users, groups, and permissions, and recommend solutions that make these activities simple, easy, and fun to use. This will cover everything from workflows for user and roles management in an administrative experience to related API solutions to automate these workflows, ensuring these capabilities follow global security and privacy norms.

  • Audit the state of our product suite (experiences and usage), as well as products provided by other industry leaders.
  • Interview customers and internal stakeholders (sales, marketing, finance, legal, customer success, product, engineering, operations, etc.) to find opportunities for improving customer experience.
  • Unify people by collaborating with engineering and stakeholders across the organization to build consensus, make decisions, and push forward our product roadmap.
  • Prioritize the backlog, engaging with stakeholders to make trade off decisions if there are resource constraints.
  • Present your ideas succinctly and socialize our roadmap (themes planned and/or delivered) with stakeholders and customers to constantly promote our strategy.
  • Contribute to making the product development processes more effective.

About you:

You are passionate about product management and customer experience, and are intrinsically motivated by your work. You have the confidence and knowledge to successfully be responsible for your product, are detail oriented, have an eye for building the 'right' thing, and a discipline to measure the success of what you have built.

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience, with a consistent record of shipping software in a high growth company.
  • Understanding of and experience with the post-purchase experience for an enterprise software company. This includes managing identity (configuration, federation, security), users (UI, file uploads, APIs), access delegation (group, roles, permissions).
  • Demonstrated ability to influence decisions across all company levels, especially without formal authority.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment, leading initiatives with little guidance/push.
  • Ability to think strategically and act tactically.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science preferred.
