WebLogic Performance Monitoring

Java
WebLogic is Oracle’s proprietary Java EE (Enterprise Edition) application server framework. Optimized for Oracle’s Exalogic Elastic Cloud, WebLogic is designed to deliver mission-critical enterprise Java EE applications on cloud platforms using streamlined cloud operations management. WebLogic takes a modular, highly integrated approach to application development, providing comprehensive services that automatically handle many application behaviors without additional programming. Developers can monitor applications and services via an easy-to-use console that incorporates a rich scripting environment. WebLogic also provides the ability to pool and share resources using dynamic adjustment and caches data in memory for users and transactions of any scale. For developers and operations teams building and managing applications with the WebLogic application server, the AppDynamics platform provides a comprehensive solution for monitoring and managing the performance of your Java applications. With rapid installation and the most scalable architecture in the industry, AppDynamics solutions help you deploy your applications more quickly and with more confidence.

Monitor business transactions on WebLogic

Applications running on WebLogic server, instrumented with AppDynamics Java agents, are auto-discovered and show up in AppDynamics. Business transactions are automatically discovered with out-of-the-box configurations as seen in the application dashboard.
