AppDynamics Expands Powerhouse AppSphere 2015 Speaker Lineup and Introduces New Targeted Peer-to-Peer Best Practice Networking Events

SAN FRANCISCO – NOVEMBER 5, 2015 – AppDynamics, a leading application intelligence company, today announced an expanded AppDynamics AppSphere™ 2015 speaker lineup and the introduction of a vertical-specific peer-to-peer best practice networking events. The second annual user conference brings together top industry thought leaders, business executives, and IT operations teams focused on harnessing application intelligence to support digital transformation. The conference will be held at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas November 30-December 4.

Attendees will explore the future of application intelligence through interactive sessions and demos, live on-site workshops, and networking opportunities. AppSphere 2015 was specifically designed to give attendees a competitive advantage as their businesses continue to digitally transform in today’s software-defined world.

Amazon Web Services’ Global Head of Enterprise Strategy Stephen Orban, as well as Chief Technology Officer Hugh Fahy of THE NET-A-PORTER GROUP, part of YOOX NET-A-PORTER GROUP, will join the all-star cast of speakers and panelists from some of the world’s leading companies and technology’s top influencers announced in late September, including keynote speakers David Kirkpatrick, author, journalist, and CEO of Techonomy Media; and Scott Hanselman, principal program manager lead at Microsoft.

Stephen Orban is scheduled to speak on Tuesday, December 2 at 10:30 a.m. PT. Stephen’s session will present a pattern that has emerged organizationally and architecturally in enterprises that are using the cloud to meet their objectives. Session attendees will gain an actionable model for accelerating their organization’s success in the cloud.

Hugh Fahy is scheduled to speak on Wednesday, December 3 at 9:00 a.m. PT. Fahy’s session will explain why a shift from hierarchical service management to holistic customer experience management is vital, and will give examples of dashboards, monitors, and metrics required in a customer-centric Network Operations Center (NOC).

In addition to expanding the speaking lineup, AppDynamics is introducing Birds of a Feather, a peer-to-peer best practice-sharing networking lunch, to facilitate quality conversations with industry colleagues. These sessions will be held on Tuesday, December 2 at 12:00 p.m. PT, and will specifically focus on FinTech, Digital Entertainment, and SaaS at Scale.

The FinTech session will bring together leaders from the financial services industry to discuss how emerging technologies are being embraced and deployed across their technology estates, including cloud transformation, mobile innovation, and how blockchain technology is transforming the future of digital banking.

The Digital Entertainment session will provide a forum for discussion about the transformation that technology has driven in the entertainment industry over the last decade, as well as the new technologies and capabilities that enable the seamless user interaction this new paradigm requires.

In the SaaS at Scale session, attendees will examine how technology leaders have transformed traditional B2B and B2C businesses into SaaS businesses, as well as takeaway points centered on scaling and building highly performing SaaS solutions.
