AppDynamics' Jeanette Jones Named to the 2014 CRN Women of the Channel List

Press Release

SAN FRANCISCO, CA, - Jun 02, 2014 -- AppDynamics, the application intelligence leader for software-defined businesses, today announced that Jeanette Jones, senior director of North America channels, has been named to the 2014 CRN Women of the Channel. The annual list highlights the accomplishments of female executives within vendor, distribution, and solution provider organizations, and the impact they are having on the advancement of the IT channel industry as a whole.

Since Jones joined AppDynamics, the company has increased the number of channel partners from 40 to more than 120. She was also instrumental in onboarding eight full-time employees dedicated to expanding and growing the company's channel program. Earlier this year, AppDynamics unveiled a revamped partner compensation model to protect the margins of partners and attract more re-sellers. Currently, sales through partners accounts for more than 15 percent of the company's revenue. Overall, the company demonstrated spectacular growth by closing a record year with 175 percent year over year growth in bookings, doubling the number of enterprise customers and closing the fiscal fourth quarter with an annualized bookings run-rate of more than $100 million.

"These female executives have risen in the ranks of their organizations and are leaving their indelible mark on the technology channel. We celebrate their many contributions and the varied ways in which they help solution providers grow and thrive every day," said Robert Faletra, CEO, The Channel Company. "We congratulate the Women of the Channel, and look forward to their continued success."

"Our channel program is an integral component of AppDynamics' business, accounting for a significant portion of revenue," said Joe Sexton, president of worldwide field operations. "Jeanette has played a central role in elevating the AppDynamics channel program, procuring more partners and propelling the overall company forward. We are immensely proud of, though not surprised by, Jeanette's inclusion on the CRN Women of the Channel List."

The Women of the Channel will be featured in the June issue of CRN magazine and online at www.crn.com.
