AppDynamics Founder & Executive Chairman Recognized for Continued Innovation & Business Growth

SAN FRANCISCO – MAY 24, 2016 – EY today announced that Jyoti Bansal, founder, executive chairman and chief strategist of AppDynamics, is a finalist for the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2016 Award in the Northern California Region.

The awards program, now celebrating its 30th year, recognizes entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in areas including innovation, financial performance, and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Bansal was selected as a finalist by a panel of independent judges. Winners will be announced at a special gala event on June 24, 2016 at The Fairmont San Jose.

“I am honored to be recognized by EY, but I certainly have to share the credit with one of Silicon Valley’s smartest and most driven teams,” said Bansal. “I am constantly inspired by what we accomplish on a daily basis, and the success our customers have achieved with the help of our technology. AppDynamics solutions are deployed in some of the world’s largest businesses —  premier brands like eHarmony, NASDAQ, McKesson Specialty Health, and a host of others — to optimize their complex, mission-critical software environments. Whether the business mission is to connect potential soulmates, or to ensure the accuracy of financial transactions, or to deliver critical healthcare data, AppDynamics helps ensure seamless 24/7/365 digital performance.”

Founded in 1986, the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year program has expanded to recognize business leaders in more than 145 cities in more than 60 countries throughout the world. Regional award winners are eligible for consideration for the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year national program.
