DG Technology Builds MEAS Mainframe Extension for AppDynamics X Platform

SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 20, 2013 – AppDynamics Inc., the next-generation application performance management solution that simplifies the management of complex apps, announced today the launch of a new extension on AppDynamics X to give visibility into the Mainframe z/OS platform. The MEAS Mainframe Monitoring extension, contributed by the consulting firm DG Technology, allows organizations to monitor and manage both their modern applications and mainframe applications in a single pane of glass.

Many organizations today rely on a mix of legacy and modern application components. The MEAS Monitoring extension allows these organizations to monitor and baseline key events and metrics from their mainframe in AppDynamics alongside their modern Java, .NET and PHP applications.
