AppDynamics Appoints Stuart Horne as Vice President of Business Development

Application Performance Management Company Taps Key Talent to Accelerate Worldwide Growth

San Francisco, Calif. – April 27, 2011 - AppDynamics, Inc., the leader in application performance management for the cloud generation, today announced the appointment of Stuart Horne as Vice President of Business Development. With the addition of Mr. Horne, AppDynamics continues the rapid expansion of its sales and business development team in order to meet the high market demand for application performance management.

Mr. Horne brings to AppDynamics over 20 years of sales and business development leadership. Prior to joining AppDynamics, Mr. Stuart was Vice President of Technology Alliances and Commercial Sales at Informatica, where he grew the company’s OEM partner base threefold over three years while growing OEM revenue over 100%. Before that he was Senior Director of Technology Alliances at Mercury Interactive, where he contributed to the company’s expansion into new customer ecosystems via strategic partners and contributed over $300 million in annual worldwide sales. He also served as Senior Director of Product Management at Hewlett Packard Software after the acquisition of Mercury Interactive. Mr. Horne has also held senior positions at SeeBeyond and PeopleSoft, and started his career as a consultant at Booz-Allen & Hamilton and Andersen Consulting (now Accenture).
