AppDynamics Taps Industry Leader Frank Swain as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales
Application Performance Management Company Names Industry Leader to Spearhead Aggressive Growth
SAN FRANCISCO – March 3, 2010 – AppDynamics, Inc., the next-generation Application Performance Management (APM) company, today announced the appointment of Frank Swain as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Mr. Swain is responsible for building the worldwide sales organization, expanding the company’s growing base of satisfied customers, and delivering exceptional value to companies already using the AppDynamics solution.
Mr. Swain brings to AppDynamics over 25 years of sales and executive leadership selling IT, cloud, and application performance management solutions. Prior to joining AppDynamics, Mr. Swain was Vice President of Sales and Business Development at Makara; before that, he was SVP of Worldwide Sales at Splunk, where he built a worldwide sales organization and grew revenues from $500,000 to $35 million in three years. In addition, Mr. Swain ran Worldwide Channels for Wily Technology and was Global Account Manager for Mercury Interactive.
