Patrick has been in IT for over 35 years with the last 4 years working as an Advisory Engineer at Cisco AppDynamics.  As well, was SE of the Year and named to the Cisco Chairman's Club for FY 2021.  Prior to working at Cisco AppDynamics, Patrick was a Pre-sales Engineer for Oracle's Management Cloud suite of solutions which included Application Performance Management, Log Analytics, IT Analytics and more. In this role, he was responsible for executing proof of concepts, presenting solutions to executives and technical audiences as well as assisting in the implementation of the solutions provided that not only addressed technical but business needs for the customer. Prior to that he, managed large global enterprise implementations of Oracle's Cloud solutions specific to Platform as a Service (PaaS) using Oracle Enterprise Manager and Real User Experience Insight end user experience solutions. He also has a rich background in Global IT Operations and Product Management. Having worked in operations for over 15 years in the Oracle Applications IT group, he has a unique perspective of what customers want in a application management solutions being and end user himself. As it relates to Product Management he also was a primary driver of new features and functionality for Oracle's cloud management solutions and directed global best practices for those solutions. During his tenure at Oracle as a management and monitoring Pre-Sales Engineer, he was Sale Engineer of the quarter for FY13Q2 as well as Sales Engineer of the year for FY13. Prior to Oracle, he was Deputy Program Manager for a government contract at the U.S. Pentagon.

Dale has worked in technology since he was 5! True story, the computer administrator at his elementary school left and he ended up supporting all the Apple computers at the school. He attended Stetson University to study Computer Science and Digital Arts. Dale previously worked for Disney and became their first Principal Site Reliability Engineer leading a global team of SREs and Systems Engineers where he and his team had been using AppDynamics for years. He also formed their global edge security team. Dale was responsible for blocking over 3 billion BOT attacks each year and he holds over 25+ IT and Security certifications. He is now a Senior Enterprise Sales Engineer with AppDynamics and looks forward to making technology fun; together.
