The Integration Partner Program extends business observability through new integrations

April 21 2022

The Integration Partner Program (IPP) develops third-party integrations between other leading software solutions and AppDynamics Application Performance Monitoring to enhance business observability within application environments within an increasingly interwoven digital world.

As more businesses accelerate their digital transformation, complexity within the stack is increasing the demand for business observability across global ecosystems. To this end, the IPP expanded available technological integrations with other ISVs by adding new solution categories to address these growing challenges of digital transformation.

New partner integrations

By expanding available integrations, the IPP broadens the addressable list of use cases and pain points unique to each customer, enabling a broader set of integration offerings for unique enhancements to Cisco AppDynamics full-stack observability.

AlertOps

AlertOps’ incident/alert management system integrates with AppDynamics to receive and respond to critical (predefined status mappings) alerts through email, SMS, push notification or phone alerts. AlertOps ensures that the alert reaches the appropriate team by using proper workflows, escalation policies and schedules.

Medallia

Medallia’s SaaS platform, the Medallia Experience Cloud, is a market leader in digital experience management for customers, employees and citizens. The Medallia integration for AppDynamics links Medallia’s session replay and Digital Experience Scores with AppDynamics End User Monitoring by inserting a session replay ID link into AppDynamics browser real user monitoring (BRUM) data to provide deep insights for business observability.

ReleaseIQ

ReleaseIQ focuses on solving the problems of multi-tool, multi-team and product release pipelines. ReleaseIQ leverages the insights provided by AppDynamics about the health and performance of an application or service to help the DevOps team with visibility, troubleshooting and insights during development and product release to guarantee application stability after deployment.

News from select integration partners

Full-stack observability webinar featuring Nobl9, WWT, ThousandEyes and AppDynamics.

Nobl9 hosted a joint webinar focused on full-stack observability with AppDynamics, ThousandEyes and WWT last year to highlight the value of the IPP in completing Service Level Objectives (SLO) through full-stack observability. The webinar, titled “How SLO’s provide a common language for managing application reliability,” can be viewed on-demand here.

Zebrium enhances business observability.

Zebrium, an Event & Log Correlation IPP partner, uses machine learning to analyze log files and provide root cause analysis for IT teams. Combined with AppDynamics, they provide insight and remediation solutions from raw log data to dramatically speed up Mean Time to Resolution (MTR).

Zebrium provides an in-depth look at a possible use case for the AppDynamics and Zebrium integration by combining their log analysis tool with our monitoring data for true business observability in their blog “Uncover Blind Spots in Your Monitoring.

And “How Cisco uses Zebrium ML to Analyze Logs for Root Cause,” provides a closer look at how Zebrium’s automated log analysis helps the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) use machine learning to solve 2.2 million service requests a year with 98.5% accuracy.

New IPP key solution domains

The digital experience has become a critical function of modern business, but without the proper tools to gather insights and provide clear solutions, it’s difficult for companies to remain competitive. Consequently, by expanding the integration solution domains to encompass other critical components, the IPP can further align with Cisco AppDynamics full-stack observability to address those challenges.
